Our New House

Micah and I recently moved into our new house and are now trying to get grass to grow in the lawn. (Yes, the most exciting thing in our lives right now is watching the grass grow and thinking about grass grow when we can’t watch.) The house was built in the late 1940s in Midway Woods, a neighborhood just south of Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. Although it’s not very big by todays standards, for the two of us it’s huge– consisting of a whopping four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our dog now officially has her own room, spending a few moments of every day lounging on the guest bed before chasing grass-seed-eating doves in the back yard. If you’re ever in Atlanta, please let us know, we have lots of space and would be glad to have you.

Take a look at how clean the area next to the car is! We spent a day clearing out scrub brush right there. Now we can actually park there, instead of fighting off the pre-historic jungle monsters that lived there.
