Sarah and I are planning on returning to Iowa for the 4th of July weekend. I’ve taken some vacation time at work leaving 6/29 and returning 7/5.

Our plan is to leave Atlanta on Wednesday night, and drive to Nashville. On Thursday, we’ll finish the drive to Iowa City (Cedar Rapids).

For the return trip, we’ll be leaving Iowa on Monday afternoon and drive perhaps 1/2 the distance back. Then, we’ll finish the trip on Tuesday the 4th. Full-day driving is just too much for me anymore.

We’ll both have our cell phones in case of emergency. Plus, we’ll be brining two little dogs, but they won’t be much help in an emergency ;)
